CONTAINER
This project is exploring sensitive relationship between opposing activity zones and this case between industrial and residential. Proximity of the site to the industrial zone and various warehouses and factories influenced design of this alteration and addition to existing Victorian house that is heritage listed. Design intent was to interlock those two different design forms and create fusion that would uniquely display a space that blends in within it’s surroundings.
FUN HOUSE
Fun house project design intent was to step outside of boundaries of mainstream design and create a joyful exciting spaces for the clients and their young family. Connecting bungalow and existing house is achieved with the outdoor elements deck/verandah that acts like a symbiosis points that tie in old with new . With using timber as the primary design element project is celebrating organic natural forms and fluidity of this primal building material. Bungalow is designed to have various function. It serves as a play house for the clients children, study space for the clients and various other purposes when required.
TREE HOUSE
House is a contemporary response to its surroundings and H2Q Architecture vision of modern country house whilst taking inspiration from the traditional country setting and natural forms around. House is set on the sloping site which gives opportunity for the great views to Red Hill valleys. Materials of this house are carefully crafted to reflect natural setting of this contemporary country house.
TIMBER REVIVAL 01
This unique townhouses elegance and beauty of a natural materials is presented through texture and colors that stitch up nicely into urban fabric of this well established Melbourne suburb . Seductive look of timber is emphasised further with captured daylight through ceiling windows and skylights. Enter into a blissful space which carries within a reminder of purity of nature in it’s every corner. Timber revival is a paradise for the seekers of a peaceful shell.
BLEND-INN
Dialogue between old and new is the theme that is dominating and influencing design of this heritage house. While trying to capture the character of the Existing, New addition is blending in with the Pre-existing context of the area. New part of the building is contemporary response-progression of the existing part to the back of the site. With this intervention house blend-in seamlessly into the existing urban fabric of this established Melbourne suburb.
MAISON DE BETON
Inspired by Japanese urban Architecture that is innovative and creative where concrete and aluminium take shapes in many different forms this house was designed to represent that unique blend of materials that will make this corner house outstanding contribution to the pre-existing streetscape. Raw Concrete as the main material was chosen to celebrate industrial looking heritage of the area and to make bold statement as chic modern architecture that beautifully combines form and function into one.
EURO ELEGANCE
European style of class and elegance comes to life in Brighton. With it’s spacious separation within it’s floor plan and texture rich chosen materials Euro Elegance brings luxury infused with simplicity and offers a pure living experience. Most of the natural light is captured through reflective materials and large openings, while being respectful towards privacy and separation. This project is exploring sensitive relationship between modern and existing traditional Architecture that dominates around this established suburb.
MANGA
Manga is a creation that is one of a kind approach to contemporary apartments-office building design. Reflection of Japanese comic books and graphic novels come alive within this masterfully created artwork. Adopting as much as possible of a given site is a trademark style of H2Q Architecture and this unique ability that is a reminder of contemporary Japanese Architecture is composed skilfully with Manga. This project aims to achieve a healthy balance of design sculpture that comes alive in this apartment-office project and the purpose of the building project.
MAGIC BOX
Creating Contemporary Art Deco response at the back of the property to the existing Art Deco Street front . Art Deco style of creation separates two apartments in a unique fashion, while offering spacious living areas, outdoor spaces and design features that makes those two apartments unique in it’s own right.. Graceful style of blending in whilst standing out, is displayed beautifully with Wooden Magic Box.

ART DELICIOUS (IN-PROGRESS)
Art Delicious is exploring different approach to a typical addition to an existing structure. Addition of new members to a site can also be treated as an original foundation to a new blend of old and new. H2Q Architecture, gracefully displays this endeavour by not only infusing the old structure with the new but also by implementing aged and contemporary styles within the extension itself. This project is a perfect example of creating a plate full of colourful experiences.
CANTILEVER
Cantilever house is set in a beautiful tree lined street that have influenced design of this grand abode. Large cantilever structures at the front and the back of the house are anchors of this design that represent extension of street trees from street to site. Large openings at the Living area encapsulates Northern sun and fill these areas as well as the main Master bedroom/ensuite with daylight throughout the day. Addition of the pool at the back tie in perfectly with the rest of this outstanding house.
SUNHAUS
Bringing the sunlight at the front and at the back of this Californian bungalow house was the main design concern when approached by the clients We achieved in fulfilling design brief by introducing large bay window and the front of this beautiful period home and squillion roof that created cathedral roof at the back of the Living-Dining open space at the back that flows onto the large deck area. Ever present dialogue between old and new in this type of project has been resolved with the addition of subtle contemporary version of the existing part.
MILK BAR REINVENTION
Old milk bar in the West Brunswick was reinvented into new times with the addition of the three storey apartment building. In this early work Three storey apartment building is representing emerging Brunswick heritage history whilst preserving facade of the previous shops. Heritage red brick represent the old world that give narrative about the past. while new building through combination of various metal and timber finishes showcase the present.
SMOKEN JOES
Refurbishment of the well established Moonee Ponds Cafe/restaurant with interesting narrative about it’s beginning s and history of the place. Getting inspired from it’s rich past we designed refurbishment of the Restaurant that is truly striking response to industrial heritage of the area and ever changing world where everything is expected instantly. As the keen follower and admirer of the Bauhaus movement design language of this refurbishment is strongly influenced by.
CITY OASIS
Addition and alterations of this period house in South Melbourne led to creation of striking outdoor space on both ground level and first floor level. Clients brief asked for creation of city oasis that will be quite city retreat for busy professional couple and their young family. Addition of the spiral stairs in the middle of this inner city dwelling gave opportunity to create extra bedroom on the fist level with the assess to large balcony on top of the house with views to Melbourne CBD skyline.
DECONSTRUCT
When approached by the client for this project at the early stage of my career, client asked for something unique that will get his Company headquarters progress to another level. We created refurbishment of the existing store where company display its products as well as new addition for Office/Staff lounge area. Front facade of the new building is combination of few different metal finishes that are inter-playing with different patterns and directions represent deconstructive nature of this project. Having various facade skins interlocking into each other portrays various activities within this space.
